There seems to be a steady trail of Fuchs crossing the pond:

7 & 8 x 15 heading East.
7 & 9 x 16 heading West.

I picked up my 7 & 9 x 16s in London for £500 ($750) and have seen others since at a similar price.

So to those in the colonies, don't give up looking in Europe since there are good deals to be had.

Ditto on 20th street auto as far as a good source. I had been casually looking for about a year to upgrade my 7 and 8's to 7 and 9's or possible 8 (951) and 9. While calling them about an Ebay ad for turbo calipers I asked them if they had any other calipers. They told me a turbo was coming in the next day and I could have those calipers. (The others sold). I then asked them about the wheels on the turbo and He told me they had the original 9's on them. Before going through his long list of buyers wanting these, I offered to buy them sight unseen. He then emailed me pictures of the wheels immediately. Bought them for $900. To complete the set, I wanted 951 8 x 16's for the front. I called Ernies Alloys to check on prices for these and they happened to have 2 wheels already finished to the exact pattern (polished lips and paddles). I did pay about as much for these as the 9's, but because they already were finished, that has to add to some of the price. So two phone calls and I have the set I wanted. Was I just lucky or are they not that rare? Keep trying 20th street and asking about incoming inventory. They are fair guys. Just don't expect the fuchs list to be too promising

I think I'll stick to Type 911 when ordering parts locally.

I vote with Dickster on Type 911 - Always very helpful, good website and Matthew carries some of the more useful upgrades not often seen in Europe.

Of course, I have been impressed at the excellent value offered by Pelican on some of the stuff I was looking at sourcing in the UK - MSD 6AL was an absolute bargian from PP compared to the UK distributor!

Have to agree! When its not financially viable to order from our host (import duties etc) they've been very good with me.

It looks like they have given in...They now state in the ad that they are "very good Fuchs copies".

9: 911 362 119 - ET 15

Photos to follow soon, but they appear to have the same front dish. The offset is different

what is the : ET10.6 and the ET15?? is this back spacing offset?

Nick,

I like that list. Is there a similar list anywhere that shows what offset each model / year car requires?

Thanks,

Seems 2 of the 3 bidders have withdrawn their bids!
