Hi all. I have rust in the fuel tank of my '85 930. I replaced the filter when I started having idle problems and it had quite a bit of rust in it. I next removed the tank and it had a good amount in it as well. I placed a small chain in the tank and shook the tank back and forth for a while. I then flushed the tank. Should I have the tank coated, replace, or what? Thanks for your time,
Todd |

Just take it to a tank shop who will flush it out for you. And repair anything wrong with it.
Should cost about $100-$150 (I recently had mine done) |
