transmission vs engine mounst

I thought the transmission and the engine mounts were the same? I purchased 2 pairs of the same (4 total) engine/transmission mounts from rennline. I see that they fit for the transmission bracket, but i'm having a hard time seeing how they fit for the engine mount bracket. what is wrong here?

engine mount bracket on left (where i had to use a wire wheel to remove the old mount), 915 transmission mount in the middle, new motor mount on right.

car is a mid year (1975) that came with a 2.7L motor if that helps
