How many Sportomatics?
Ok I need some help here. Can anybody tell me how many 911S cars were produced with the Sporto tranmission in 1974? They list a 911 model, an S model, and a Carrera model in my book and others I have looked at and they show prodution numbers for all of the manual trans cars. However they don't even show a VIN range for autos so I can't even do the math myself. Anybody got a clue?

According to both "Original Porsche 911" & "The 1974-89 911, 912E & 930 Porsche Authenticity Series" there were 236 911S Sportmatics produced in 1974 with engine numbers ranging from 6349001 to 6349236.
