anyone in Ontario, Canada?

I am a new owner of an old 911 and am looking for opinions on what shop to take my car to, should I not get it running correctly myself.

I am located between London and Kitchener, so Ideally somewhere there would be good but understand I may have to go as far as the big smoke.

I did get some prices from a "dealer" on parts and that seemed almost enough to scare me away from even thinking of going there.

Comments on who are the good "wrenches" are much appreciated.

You could try, Furtmair Auto, Kitchener
519 576 9972, Auguste Automobile, St Catharines, 905 682 4242. Both of these shops are very competent and helpful.
There is also a shop in London but I do not have any experience with them or feedback about them, Tatra Motorsports 519 686 0286.
Have you joined UCR yet?

I will be joining PCA/UCR soon. My initial goal is to get the car sorted so I could get to a drivers ed!

That is the second reference to Furtmair I have had, and he is closer to me so I will call them.
