Fender join rust

Hi

restoring a 68S and the join section on the top fender side is rotten

I know restoration design make the top of inner fender section as per pic below but does anyone know if someone makes the equivalent for the actual fender?

Hello Craig - We sell all restoration design products in the catalog. Maybe check here: 1968 Porsche 911 Base Coupe/Targa - Chassis Panels & Sheet Metal - Page 1. If you do not find what you're looking for please give us a call - 888.280.7799 - and ask for one of our P car parts specialists. They will definitely be able to tell you if they have them available or if there are other options available.

Hi Craig,

I think the answer to your question is "no" unfortunately. I have not seen a replacement section for that part of the front fenders. I think your best bet is going to be either grafting sections from other used fenders or buying complete good used or new replacements...

The inner fender part from Restoration Designs is a new part for them. You might try calling them up to ask what they have in the works. I've always found them to be helpful on the phone and maybe they have the part you are looking for in the pipeline... Can't hurt to ask!

Tom
