Finally... My RSR Interpretation

Hey Guys, extremely excited to share what I've been working on for the past few years.

Car started life as an '86 3.2 Carrera. Having now dropped a few hundred kilos during the backdate, coupled with a freshly rebuilt 915 gearbox, the car is an absolute blast through the twisties!

Enjoy!
Adam

Thanks for all the comments!

I really tried to take all the features I love from different 911's and build a kind of ultimate in my eyes. Being white, I always figured I can change the decals and red wheels at any time should me tastes change. I did have the idea to put black PORSCHE side scripts with polished Fuchs at some stage.

Not sure what the colour of the interior is, I literally sifted through 100's of samples before arriving at this one. It's sort of like a Ferrari tan with a slight pinkish hue.

A few people have asked for full build info, so here it is (as far as I can remember!):

Fibreglass front fenders
Fibreglass front and rear bumpers
Fibreglass rear ducktail
Original '73 metal long hood
Sucro headlight relay kit + 90W bulbs
Flag mirror backdate (left is original, right is reproduction)
Opted for custom paint color over Grand Prix White.

AC that actually works!
Rebuilt Nippondenso A/C Compresser
Additional left rear wheelwell condenser with fan (3 condensers total now)
Uprated dual-fan A/C evaporator relocated to front trunk (no longer in passenger footwell)
Fresh air blower delete, with A/C now operated via original fresh air controls

Centre Console Delete
Fibreglass bucket seats with leather upholstery and basketweave inserts
Original '73 arm rests
Rear seat back delete
New carpets
New headlining
Momo Prototipo + custom leather horn button
MB 6.5 inch Reference Speakers (RKC-116) + Pioneer P1Y receiver
Lightweight sound deadening (CLD tiles + closed cell foam)

3.2 Carrera Motor
Rebuilt 915 Gearbox
Bilstein Sport yellow shocks
Original Fuch wheels - 16x7 (225/50/16) + 16x8 (245/50/16)
OEM exhaust
