G Series Sport Seats

Is any one able to confirm whether these are G series sport seats?

Rob

Wait, the seats look strange. The cheeks should be angular, not round. At least with these seat squabs. They look something like a mixture of twi different seats.
Porsche changed the seats for modelyear 85.
and the leather doesn't look original...

Mine's are definitely not sport seats and they look a lot like yours (except for the fabric insert...)

They look like 80-84 sport seats.
Available in 911s and 944s.

The base has a separate bolster from the seat bottom. Normal comfort seats do not have that.

Good point. The confort's base isn't split.

Would 80-84 seats not have a different reclining knob to these?

For sale thread with a set of mid to late 70s sport seats.
Pair of 74-80 black sport seats
Notice the hinge is different and no adjustment knob like the later manual seats have.
Edit:
Another for sale thread with the later style manual sport seat 80-84.
Manual Mid-Year Sport Seats 2nd Set
Thread title is incorrect and these not middie seats but 80-84 seats.

No, the knobs are correct. as far as I can see, the seats are legit, but the upholstery is a little rounded around the side bolster bumps.

They probably didn't replace the foam when recovering. So it flattened the lower side bolsters out a bit. They look like nice seats though. Finding good seats is tough for a good price.

I am thinking of buying these for my 76 Carrera 3.0. They are not correct for the year, but then again they are not correct for the car as it was delivered with standard seats.
Should make for a more comfortable drive.

I'm 6'3'' 225, and I think these are the most comfortable seats ever put in a 911.
