If this is a local purchase, we can activate the NOVA Pelican covert ops group to help you.

This is California so we should keep the locals in reserve for now!

If only, huh? |
WPOZZZ means it's a Euro model, whatever it is. I don't have "the good book" handy.
btw, Paul... I'm assuming you saw the R&T where they tested the 959 vs F40 vs BigMac F1 vs FA/18 Super Hornet. I think the 959 did pretty well considering. |
Boy, didn't it! Another example of USA politicans and bureaucrats messing things up. I heard a rumor of some USA ultra rich who bought 959's...stored them in Europe, would jet over whenever they wanted to enjoy a drive...edit: Lawson, if this is a euro market car, be careful if you look to buy it in the USA. Some parts may not be available, and other problems. That's why "gray market" cars, as they are known, are usually much less money than those originally shipped here...

Nearest I have is WPOZZZ99ZTS392001-2202 (911 Red Book) which refers to 1996 US/Canada GT2s. The book says the 10th digit changed to V in August '96 to denote the '97 model year. Is this close? More info please?
|
The car is a 96 supercup so I do not know how much info will be available just wanted to see if the VIN penciled out.
|
Sorry, misread the book, the GT2 bit is correct but it is ROW, not US/Canada.
