My car has an aftermarket exhaust which I have been told is a Bursch. I wish there was a way to verify that it is a Bursch exhaust, but I will say that it is quite a bit louder than a standard exhaust. It is also rougher and throatier with a deeper pitch. Overall I like the sound, but you can hear it's noticeably different than the standard exhaust.

Know that bursh makes two mufflers styles - glass pack and a regular chamber style muffler. I have the chamber style with SSIs.

I hear people saying the bursch is "throatier", I don't get it. I think it is higher pitched. Maybe with convetional exchangers it sounds different, I don't know.

It is a bit louder than stock, but not outragous.

At high RPM it sings. The sound is moving up the frequency range from the normal 911 towards a rice bike or F1 car. High pitched!

At around 2500 rpm I do get a little resonance though.

Can't beat the price. I think the $800 stainless mufflers are a waist of good money. The only other muffler I would consider is an OEM style dual in / dual out.
