Question PLEASE HELP with 1976 911s Fuel Injector tube

Dear Friends,

I have this 1976 911 that I´m rebuilding, and unfortunately the plastic tube that goes from the Fuel Distributor to the injector on cylinder #1 broke

So my question is:

How do I insert this nylon tube over the barber end fitting of the fuel injector?
The hole on the plastic tube is so much smaller the the barber that I´m having a hard time to do that!

I try already heat it, but the heat dissipate porm the tip and when i try to insert the heated plastic tube, it end up bending.

So, is there any trick or method to reinstall this tube on the fuel injector?

Thank you all, so much in advance!

Look for one good used as they are all the same from 1974 through 1980 for the left side.
Last thing you want is a fire with fuel under pressure.

Extra CIS fuel lines........

1ricardo,

I have some extra CIS plastic fuel lines in excellent condition. Do not take unnecessary risk playing around with these plastic fuel lines. Either ask Len Cummings to make you a new one or get a good used one. If you don't have the experience and skill to make these CIS fuel lines, think twice before using one you made. It is better to err on the side of caution than be sorry later.

Unless you have the factory tool that clamps onto the line, you should just find another good one. Even with the factory tool it's a beyoch.

OK,
After many suggestions I´ll buy another line, now the question is:
Every body suggest me to find a used one, what is the problem with a new one from our host?

Nothing as long you can actually get it. For the hard lines on later cars, both pelican and *********** have them in the catalog with prices, but then when you go to actually order them they come up 'no longer available/out of stock'. Supremely annoying. Hope better luck on these....
