Becker Radio
All,
Will a Becker Radio from a 2003 Boxster fit in a 77 911S? ![]()

I think that is single DIN size in the Boxster, so should fit in an earlier 911.

My other ride is a C-130J

Does that unit require an amplifier? Or is it a stand alone unit?
My 2000 Boxster had the same unit but also had an amplifier in the front trunk. Not sure if it was required for proper function.

CDR23 is a nice unit but it will NOT work without the fiber optic input and output to and from the amp of the car it came in originally.
I tried to make mine work with an optical jumper and even looked at bypassing the optical portion entirely inside the unit to no avail. The best option is to get a CDR 220 with a screen mod so you can see the screen. You can get this done by Becker USA. -Steve
