ARRGH! Front fender got dinged, have some questions

I got sideswiped by a Lexus the other day, it dinged the flare on the 930 drivers fender. I have since acquired a replacement fender from a Euro 930 that I have no idea of the year model (has the fender running light) thanks to Pelican MREID. My old fender has the plastic "gas filler cup" but the new fender has the welded metal filler cup. Question is, what mounts to the bolt holes shown here. I went to multiple PET years including Euro ones and cannot find any part that would bolt up to this flange.

Also any thoughts on the value of the damaged fender to someone who has the ability to straighten it. The flare has most of the damage and has a slight buckle above the flare.

Fuel filler neck that has the gas cap on it

Your fender is an easy fix, it would be a lot less hassle

Why not hammer that out and blend?? I could fix that over a weekend. I do see the kink above to the left too.

what looks like a kink toward the left front is just a reflection of my other black car behind the camera.

Anyone have a pic of a "metal fuel cup" fender with the filler neck installed?

You will need more parts to do the swap and a lot of labor.

Many thanks for the pics, it's all a clear now! As for comments on banging out the fender, I figured just taking the new fender into my body man and having it painted, then bolting it on would make things pretty simple. All I need then is the fuel pipe and fuel pipe rubber boot.
I swapped fenders when I went "wide body" and it was just nut and bolts. Plus now I will have a pristine fender LOL

Diminished value.

If the other driver is at fault,

are you familiar with diminished value claims?

Hey Marc,

That's my plan. As if I would go anywhere else. John is Da Man!

Hi Grant ...You will find that it should become a 'must' for you to get it repaired in order for the shop to blend your colour into your door... Without a proper 'blend', it will be kind of a 100-1 chance for you to get a correct colour match.

Btw, do you guys - Grant /Mark- happen to know Doyle Shepperd from Macon?.. I have tried emailing Doyle, including phoning him a few times to no avail... We kept in touch quite regularly until he kind of -well- just disappeared. I somehow think that he may have become very ill - or?

He, as you likely know, was restoring his car at Johns shop in Marietta...If you happen to have any info of how he is, would you mind sending me an email?

Maybe I should give John a ring as he may know ay.

Thanks... So his car is still at Johns - Wow!.. It was painted close to ? what ?.. two years ago??. I sure hope that he is OK.

Best
