Question Quick help here........need fan/pulley nut size!

I'm doing my first valve adjustment tonight and I need to know what size is the nut on the fan/pulley (it looks to be a 24mm). I know, I should have a complete set of sockets but my garage was broken into and they pilferaged all my tools. I have yet to replace everything and I guess my large sockets were last on my list. Your prompt response is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

John,

Some of the rebuilt Valeo Alternators are coming with 24 mm nuts on the shaft that holds the fan and pulley

Jim,

Luckily I purchased both a 22mm and 24mm. When I looked at the 22mm, it seemed a bit small so instead of making another trip back, I grabbed the 24mm. When I came home, the nut size was a 24mm. I guess the PO had the altenator rebuilt at some time. Thanks guys.
