Weber rebuilds are a very satisfying project, even for a newbie.

Very nice Greg.
I guess the jet carrier and plug worked. Glad to have helped. Jamie

Greg,
I know you are not looking for things to spend money on, but did you know that PMO has a billet fuel distributor (pair, actually) that has a built in filter receptacle, AND replaces those leaky banjos & that UGLY HOSE PIECE??? I used them in my early carbs, and was very pleased with the result, about $75 I think... ![]() BTW, nice job on the carbs, they look like new!!! ![]()

Jamie, yes they help immensely and the replacements came yesterday. I'll run'em done this weekend (if you're around).
Bill, I actually considered getting a set. What I bought instead (after a very informative conversation with Richard) is a new set of air compensation jets and 36mm venturis. The venturis are art in aluminum - I should've posted pictures of those! All that's left is timing and tuning!
