Need part number for Carrera fan housing...

I'm on my fourth try with getting the CORRECT AND UNDAMAGED fan housing for my new 3.2 to be installed this Sat. I'm afraid this one may not fit either. Anyone know if 930.106.102.0R is a correct casting # for an '85 3.2 Carrera engine? It has those two bolts sticking out near the 10:00 position, which I think is wrong. But the recess looks just right for the alt. mounting bolts. My engine is at Marcesq's house and I can't match it until Sat., which is when I want to install it. If it's wrong, then I may be able to pull a miracle and get another one delivered here by tomorrow. Thanks.

Thanks so much! It looks like the housing I got today is for an '85, which is perfect. I just don't recall those two bolts sticking out of the housing on my '87 3.2, which I worked on last night. So it's fresh in my mind.

Hey David, I was gonna call you tonight anyway and invite to another engine party at Marc's on Sat. If you can't come, I'd like to come by tonight and borrow your furniture dolly. I'll call around 7:15.

Richard, I won't be available to support an engine party this weekend, not that I'm a tremendous help anyways. Still, my floor jack will continue to provide support in my absence. I hope all goes well with the engine installation.

Right now I'll just be ecstatic to have all the right parts to get her buttoned up. Actual install just seems too good to be true right now. Sat. will be a busy day anyway, since there's the lovely job of rear spring plates to do. Someday Jim, we'll drop both of your engines.
