Racing Batteries

I am looking to upgrade my battery on my race car. Does anyone have experience with Optima or Odyssey batteries. How much does the Optima wiegh? I know Odyssey has a battery that is 16 pounds with 680 cranking amps. Being that it is so small will I have problems with cranking times (race motors can be touchy when hot sometimes)
Anyone have any suggestions or comments. I know Elephant Racing sells the Odyssey brand. 16 lbs is light!

Odyssey PC925 - use them in all the race cars combined with hi-performance starter, no problems with starting even on the hottest days at the track.

Chad, I've had nothing but great results with the PC680 in my own cars and with customers, including 3.6 motors. At less than 16 pounds it is a great solution.
