-I've heard that you can say your associated with some seller and then the security guards will let you in. I've just trying to figure out how to get in before the start.
-What time does it start? -What is the address? Thanks

Scott, Have you seen this 73' T MFI. It looks really nice. It's in San Diego. A beautiful 73.5T just sold on ebay yesterday for 9,800. It was black also.

The Pomona meet is incredible. If you haven't been, your first time will be a tad jaw dropping...
Check the link above for time/location info. You can sometimes get in early if you have a legit seller name/space and look the part (you obviously still have to pay the fee). The real 'secret' if you want to get in before general gates at 5am is to drive the Porsche and enter as a show car. It's $20 (for the Porsche and other specific cars, otherwise it's $100) and you get a reserved space in the gates and 2 people get in. With general parking at $6 per vehicle and a $5 per person fee it's only $4. As long as the make and year meet the criteria it doesn't matter if you're a 'real' show car or not. They want to have as many P-cars, etc. on hand as possible! Generally 3am is a good arrival time to get in, parked, and looking at the parts by 4am, and hour before general gates open. Check out http://www.pomonaswapmeet.com/cars.htm for more information on this option. The only problem is; are you gonna take a bunch of greasy old parts home in your 'show car'? ![]() Either way, quick list of things essential to a good early morning jaunt are: -Warm coat you don't mind getting dirty -Biggest flash-light you can find -Leatherman tool to carry with you -Toolkit (in the car, you never know when you can buy the tranny without the engine!) -Hand cleaner and rags/shop towels -Lots and lots of CASH MONEY. If you're in the market for larger parts, or might buy a lot, steal the kids Radio Flyer, it can be a long haul through the parking lot with that SC front suspension on your back! By the way, I've sold VW and Porsche parts at this thing (years past) and walking up in any sort of Porsche 'lifestyle' attire, anything with a Porsche logo, automatically jacks the asking price 20%... You can imagine what happens with the Rolex and Gucci's! Happy hunting!

I would think so. If you're not going I could probably find a set to bring home. Let me know what color and condition--I'll get as good a deal as I can then just ship 'em to you for that price. Just let me know. Anything for fellow pelican guys!
