Love the sound of my GHL. Single in-single out 3 inch tip. Sounds the best from 3500-redline! Do a search, there has been plenty of talks about different exhaust systems.

I put SSI's with a stock "banana" muffler from a 73 model car on my 85 Targa. Now the car sounds the way a 911 should! Torque is up and the car revs much faster.
Well worth the time and bux! JA |

I've got a Fabspeed fed by SSI headers on an '83 SC, and I wouldn't recommend it for a daily driver. I love it, but it's pretty loud. No real resonance--the annoying noise--but loud enough that my mother-in-law said thank you very much, that's my first ride in a Porsche and my last.

I too have a GHL. It's a single in, Dual 3" out. I love the sound (mostly) but it is a bit loud for a daily driver. Sometimes I wish it had a volume switch.
