1980 SC Fresh Air Inlet Box
Hi,
Today I was cleaning up some wires from an aftermarket alarm. One wire that was attached to the GPS tracker runs behind the ventilation system and stops there. I can't reach it with my hands. I removed the blower and thought I could reach the wire, but the fresh air inlet box is still in front of it. I don't really see how I can remove the box? The 2 bolts from behind the box are already loose. Are there other bolts that I miss? ![]() The wire that I want to remove is the one directly right from the box.

Looks like you've already undone the two screws in the air vent. Squueze the clip on the drain tube rubber pipe and remove it. The airbox will then come out.

I recently watched a video of someone removing all the A/C hoses ( or something along those lines) and I'm trying to recall if there were a couple of screws that were only accessable from inside the airbox. Worth a look, I guess.

^. Nope. Just the two screws at the top and the bottom is held by the rubber drain pipe.

Many thanks!
After pulling the hose, the air box drops almost automatically out |
