Yes, looks like 1 of the three is cracked. I dont think they sell single springs.

Looked for one the other day and $75 looked like the price for all three springs.

After 30 or 40 years they can break (it's an old car!), I don't think they sell just the individual springs, besides one of the other "leafs" may break later. Not that hard to replace the whole thing.

That is sold as one unit - no such thing as replacing only one spring section.

Mine was cracked and I bought a new one from the local stealership.
I also replaced the two small release arm bearings at the same time.

This was some time ago so I don't remember the exact cost but not a lot.

They are about $70. I'll buy a new one and replace it.

Its not? Mine didn't look like that...

That said, I drove my car without one for years, as I didn't know it was missing...

So driving with it like that doesn't hurt anything except your leg....

It worked fine prior to removing.

John...that split is normal? I don't remember seeing that before. I looked at some old photos i had and I can see a line in one of them but not a space.

hahahah that's funny ... I am as cheap as they come and I wouldn't even think of trying to get just one of the leafs and leaving the other two.
That would be the height of cheapness, and i'm sure there are some " creative" cheapskates on here .
