Shipping advice for 84-89 Valence...
I just cut a good deal with a really nice seller to purchase an 84-89 OEM front valence, with lip and fog lights for $250. Unfortunately, the shipping costs from california came up to 175 bucks!! Does anyone have a better cost solution for shipping a valence. I had no idea the cost would be so much.
As always, any comments are greatly appreciated.

I have heard that you can ship oversizeed items through Greyhound Bus Lines for a lot less than normal shipping routes.

Kemo,
I've heard the same regarding Greyhound. Another thing to keep in mind is the "quality" of the delivery. Fedex Ground (formerly RPS?) is also inexpensive. However, my experience and what I hear from others is that they are very rough on their packages. If you make a claim with them it's like going through torture. No matter how you go get insurance. Perhaps with Greyhound there is less handling and therefore less opportunity for damage. Rick
