I cannot find anyone within over 200 miles that works on older 911SC. .I have owned it for over 30 years and only has 80K miles. Can you advise me on the following problem. Engine starts easily and runs well UNTIL it warms up. At that time it will die unless I keep it revved up. Would this be a problem with the WUR ?? I would appreciate your reply. __________________ This post was auto-generated based upon a question asked on our tech article page here: Porsche 911 CIS Fuel Injection Tuning and Adjustment | 911 (1965-89) - 930 Turbo (1975-89) | Pelican Parts DIY Maintenance Article |

Sounds like it is running too rich. I would try replacing the O2 sensor if equipped. Also worth trying to adjust the air fuel ratio. - Casey |

NOT a good idea. ^^^ too many other things it could be before you start adjusting. to start with: I would start with power to the warm up reg (WUR). 12v check fuel pressures, cold then warm check for air leaks. |

 Guessing game...... Quote:
Why would anyone would offer such suggestions without knowing the year and model of the car is not a prudent course of action. Sometimes you get lucky but you can not rely on luck all the time. Just my two-cents. Tony |
