Brighten Weber?

I left a torn down Weber in a heated ultrasonic for probably too long, and it turned much darker. Anyone have a trick to brighten it back to normal?

Here's a good article by Bruce Smith 356 registry.

I use soda blasting, then follow up with brass dremel brush. For a full back to new, zinc plate.
