2.7 cis steel runners ?

I thought all CIS systems had aluminum runners. Is there any advantage to steel ?

It's off a 2.4l 73 1/2 cis......

Hello

I´m not sure but all pre 73,5 CIS seemed to have the steel manifolds then in the middle from 74 it seemed to change to the aluminium units and in 75 the new CIS with the new WUR appiered.

Now my database is very limited and based on ROW cars.
