Lots of plastic wrap too. I'd wrap them up tightly. You could also maybe put a shipping blanket around them and then wrap them with plastic for added padding.

Shipped a pair last week , they were 50 lbs each. I bubble wrapped real good andbused greyhound . If you use online to print your shipping label , there is a 25% off . Cost me about $90.00 total from NY to Florida . Just dropped it at greyhound.

When I shipped a pair of early sport seats, I separated the seat back from the seat bottom and shipped them in two large Rubbermaid plastic containers. I used FEDEX Freight, Winnipeg>California.

hey Dan,

The U-Haul large wardrobe box works great for the old tombstone seats if you nest them top to bottom. It will be a tight fit but if you can fit them and cut the box down to 40" the long way then you will be just under the max size for USPS which is the cheapest way if you don't want to do greyhound.

I shipped mine in a U Haul wardrobe box, one seat per box. Covered each seat in a plastic bag and shipped across the country and they arrived in perfect condition via Fed Ex Ground.
