I did find a company in England that makes luggage racks for quite a few cars, but not the 911. However, their universal rack may be an alternative to fit on the engine lid. Check with classicluggageracks.com to see if what they have available might meet you needs. Post pics if you end up getting one.

My wide body cab has channels on the top. I have used a generic roof rack to carry small loads and attach a small roof top enclosed carrier. I don't have pic, but here is a ski rack utilizing the channels...
