Window Helper spring
I have a broken spring stop on the helper spring for the window regulator.
Tada, Pelican sell that specific part. So, along with all new rubbers, that stuff is heading my way. Thank Pelican for stocking this stuff, you help us keep these old S-boxes running. My question is when installing this part. http://cdn1.pelicanparts.com/catalog/images/misc/910392.jpg Do I pean over the bottom to hold it in place? Not sure what it looked like OEM, I am starting with a broken off pin, laying in bottom of door. I have the regulator out.... Rich |
Always confusion over these two partshttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1488459070.jpg
One on right is not available and that's the one that usually breaks, the other spring pivot goes in center of spring the one you have a pic of. You have to make your own if it's the right one. The left one has a screw in back. |
+1 , you'll need to make your own.
search for repair methods, this is just one of a few:http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/233103-part-found-inside-driver-door-what-2.html will be cake since you have regulator out. hth |

I ordered this.
I will make it work... ITs at least close to what I need, I can grind it to fit and I guess I will pean it over to hold it in place, like the original. if not, I will be making a bolt setup. rich |
