Torsion Bar and Ball Joint Grease Questions

I'm in the middle of a full suspension rebuild... What brand/kind of grease do you guys use for the torsion bars? Do you grease the whole bar? Do you grease the splines?

I'm putting new lower ball joints purchase from the host. Do you guys add grease inside the rubber cover or they come pre-greased and ready to be put it?

Thanks

I think I put a little wheel bearing grease I had with some moly in it on the splines. I've never added grease to a new ball joint. Would think there would be a tag and a zerk if that was needed.
Pretty sure what I got from our host was sealed ready to use. The Lemdorfer (sp?) unit.

I just did this and there was the clear lithium grease from the factory on my 88.
That pink stuff was slathered inside the shock and on the steering rack but clear on the torsion bar.

Like the first look in Tut's tomb-this was first light in here since Zuffenhausen.

I'm in the middle of doing wheel bearings as well so plenty of that swepco 101 red grease around. Will use that. Thanks

I smeared my torsion bars (entirely) with a thin coat of Lucas Red 'n Tacky. Not as messy as a graphite type grease.
I also use it for my wheel bearings.
My ball joints came pre-lubed and sealed.
