Pics of my recent small projects
Finally finished with a list of things I've been chipping away at for months between work travel and other obligations. See some pics below, but I feel good having gotten the following finally completed:
New tail light lenses (involved removing, disassembling and cleaning the housing pieces) New rear shocks New oil return tube (the front drivers side one) New O2 sensor and new O2 connector in engine bay (thanks to Louie85 for his fabricated part) New axles and CVs (took mine apart to discover they were not salvageable, so I bought new ones) Ceramic coated the entire exhaust........at first I bead blasted and painted with VHT but this failed during the heat cure process. Gave up and sent it in for ceramic coating.....looks great and is now bullet proof and should last a very long time. These jobs are recent in my mind so if anyone is tackling these and needs advice I can offer some..........trust me when I say I encountered every pitfall and newbie issue before I figured out the correct and easy way for some of these items.....I could do them all in about 1/4 the time now. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Good work - getting the projects done - I'm attempting to do the same.
What did you pay for the exh. coating? Where did you have it done? Thx.

I had the exhaust coating done at Accessories Plus in Belmont. Flawless work. Cost about $575 for everything exhaust related. Coating is good for 1600 deg. continuous use which allows you to coat the catalytic converter too.
