Door window seals
My "wiper" seal on the doors are shot. When I looked at the catalogue I have to admit that I couldn't be certain which part I need to order.

Is this the part that I'm pointing out in the photo? Part #: 911-531-931-02-M136

Is there a "while I'm in there" list of other seals to replace as well?

Easiest fix I've ever done- no dismantling of door required, just roll the window down and use a wide stiff putty knife to gently pry the trim up from the inside. Pop one end up, and you'll see what kind of fasteners you are dealing with. Gently pry up and off, then remove the old seal and slide in the new one, and press the trim back on. Seriously, it was less than five minutes.

I do know the targa part is different from the coupe seal. The Pelican will get you the right one.

Just went into the catalog, yes indeed that is the part you need for a coupe. Try to resist the urge to trim the end off when it looks too long. Just smush it into the channel on the trim. It can shrink over time. A little liquid soap can make it easier to slide down.

So I picked up the parts and as advertised it was an easy job, even putting the rubber back in the aluminum trim piece was easy, once I found the triflow lube. Soapy water wasn't enough.

I was stymied for a while as to where to pry on the piece, but once I figured that out it was easy. I thought a photo might help those who follow.

That part coming off is what holds the rubber squeegee. There is a right and a left part number.

Always pry from the ends first cut after installation, but leave it long as it will shrink about 1/4 inch or so.

I just replaced both of my window seals. Both sides had gaps at the front of about .25" which let in water, lots of water. Fortunately, it was easier than expected. I pried up the trim with a plastic trim tool. The old seals pulled out of the trim pieces easily. Inserting the new seals was difficult until I figured to pull the seal into the slot rather than pushing. I didn't need any lube but it did become rather difficult when the seals were almost in, I had to pull and push along the length of the seal at the same time. The seal was too long but since it is rubber, it compressed so that the ends were preloaded which made for a great fit. Putting the trim back in was easy I just used the side of my fist to push the trim back in. Both sides took about 15 minutes in total.
