Electric Antenna Knock Knock
Should I be concerned with a double knock when the electric antenna on our 1983 911SC reaches is top most and bottom most positions?

I'm fairly sure that is normal. I have an '84 that does the same thing.
I believe there is a ramp/clutch mechanism inside the antenna motor the slips once the mast encounters resistance allowing one of the gears move until the wire contacts are disrupted. |
