While I'm in there...bump steer kit
Hi Pelicans:
'83SC...suspension fully apart... I took a look, and I don't see the bump steer kit installed (though I do have turbo tie rods, is this curious to anyone?). Looking for confirmation - I don't know where I'll wind up setting height, but doesn't it make sense to install the kit, regardless? I've never noticed any bump steer issues in the past. Thanks, Pelicans! |
I believe you only need a bump steer kit if you are lowering below Euro height. Otherwise just because you have turbo tie rods doesn't automatically mean you need a bump steer kit.

stock height RoW is 108+/-5mm in front and 16+/-5mm in back The further below these vales that the car is lowered the more likely you will want at least the washer kit |
+3 only if you go lower than Euro height.

The only reason you would want to run the Elephant racing style kit is if you raise your spindles. Not sure if that is what you are looking at.
