Sweet. I like the fender guards with the whale tail; quintessential 911.

Panzer, good looking 911.
I'm in SD too.
Check out the SD region PCA chapter. They are very active with tours of the back county roads, social events and lot's of good times at the Q with AX, DE and TT events.

Thanks guys! I really enjoy this car. I have had many cars of many diff makes but this one is my favorite of all. My only gripes are the lack of headroom and the so so gearbox. Thanks Ned for the SD PCA info. I want to join but have a few things yet to do before I am ready (read new rotors and shocks). Once I am ready you will see me there!

Alex,

Very nice car. Did you buy it locally and what were your search criteria (i.e. year/color/options)? The only visual thing I would alter on that great looking car would be a pair of H4 lamps. Best of luck.

No, my car does not have a sunroof. Mine's a Euro model, on which sunroof deletes were more common. It's very difficult to find American models without a sunroof. I've been told that without the sunroof and with the Euro motor, my car would make a great club racer. I happen to like not having the sunroof because it gives me a little more head room.

dmoolenaar my car I bought here in SD. The car is originally from Nieuport Beach and was in excellent condition. The interior is all original and overall in great shape. The paint appears to be original as well and has the usual minor chips. The engine was dead stock with 135k. My criteria was SC 80-83. I wanted white with ave milage and in stock condition. I found the perfect car for me in this one. I have upgrade the engine to include hydraulic tensioners and pop-off valve. I also pulled the engine and replaced the airbox, all hoses and vacuum lines and installed a performance Sachs clutch. The runs great and I am going to replace shocks and front rotors next. Thanks for all the kind comments.

Now that's a fine looking car, sez I. It's got the stuff I like on it. When I was looking for mine, I was hoping to find a nice one in either silver or white ... I found this one:

Nice looking car. I don't think it needs to be lowered. It's nice as it is. Euro headlamps would be a great improvement though.

Being a "silverholic" I love your 911
