Sealant for 901 transmission gaskets

I am rebuilding a 901 transmission. Would anyone have a recommendation for a sealant to help the thin gaskets seal better? (between housing and intermediate plate for example)

Thanks

AFAIK they go on dry. This is a critical location that sets the pinion engagement. The original gaskets need to be carefully measured and the exact combination put back in. Any sealant would screw up the thickness. They get well crushed anyway, so leaks should not happen.

Gasket thickness is critical as mentioned, and normally additional sealant is not needed. Was the trans leaking before disassembly?
