Which one is my turn signal?

I'm suspecting the shop that removed my bumper switched the turn signal and side marker lights. I have a Euro 930. Is the turn signal (the one that blinks) supposed to be the one on the inside pointing forward or on the outside corners?

Inside, side is USA & Japan side markers. EURO and ROW do not have the sides.

Euro and Row do not have the sides? Mine is a EURO and I'm pretty sure it comes stock with both lights. Do you mean I shouldn't have the second light? My question is for a ROW/EURO, which one of these lights blinks when you hit the turn signal switch.

Some ROW countries had side markers, some didn't.
My '81 left the factory without side markers but they were added when it was imported to the U.S.A. and federalized.
Either way, your lights are in the wrong spot, your inside should be out.

What would it look like without the side marker light? What is in it's place?

+1 your marker is in the wrong position.

Well, I can't blame the shop. I looked at old pictures and seems my lights were mounted incorrectly from when I bought. Probably when it was first resprayed. I tried to swap them but decided it wasn't worth the hassle trying to reach in there with all the crap in the way. Will leave it for now until I have some other reason to work in that area.

While I agree there is a fair amount of effort involved in swapping them (realistically, probably easiest to pull the bumper), I'm pretty sure that would bother me to the point I'd have to do it. I recently had mine off for cleaning and bellows replacement.
