Thanks for your quick response, is it just a standard car?

Thanks for your help, the person selling the car thinks it's a anniversary edition, how can I find out?

tito911s 03-29-2017 12:43 PM

It won't be if its a 1976. The anniversary model was produced for MY 1975.

What color? Seems like there was some special edition car that year.

Ferry Porsche edition?

group911@aol.co 03-29-2017 06:29 PM

Yep.
1976 911S Ferry Signature Edition was a 1 of 200 Edition (is my understanding). This was a special edition with a few distinguishing characteristics, including the interior, trim & exterior paint. The steering wheel has a engraved facsimile of Ferry Porsche’s signature. The cars were painted platinum metallic and had champagne/tan carpet. The rear seats, the door panels, and the interior rear side panels were upholstered with a woven plaid material unique to the Signature Edition. Exterior color code 944-9-3 Platinum Diamond Metallic (PLATINDIAMANT MET), color matched ATS Cookie Cutters & Drivers Mirror & Headlight Trim Rings and had Black Targa Bar & Porsche Rocker Stripe.
