Help me removing Left rear HARD Brake Line please

Hi gurus, I need help and tips.

I have to replace the left rear hard brake line because nuts at the rubber line are rusted and won't budge so I can't remove the flexible brake line

Patience, heat with PB blaster didn't help, and after too many attempts with vice grips nuts are totally rounded.

I think I have to cut the tube at the coupler to replace the entire left line.:mad:

Can anyone tell if I have enough room to replace the left hard brake line without removing transmission or gearbox support?

Which is the best way to accomplish this task ?

thanks in advance

Hi,
I mean I have to replace Hard brake line from rear coupler to left side flexible brake hose.
(The red part in the diagram).

I'd like your suggestion on how to proceed... do I have to remove the engine to replace this hose ?

If not needed witch is the best way to put the new hose ?

Thanks in advance

With out me looking under the car I can't say. What year is it. I've got my 69 here in the driveway and will take a look in the morning. It may be the same.

I just looked at it on line and I think you should be able to replace them without removal. It should be way forward. Might need to remove trans front mount.

I have the same problem. I just had to remove the engine/transmission for a rebuild, so I am going to address the issue while it is out. Hopefully the line sent seized on the distribution block also.
