Let's see your dead pedal
I want to install a dead pedal into my car. I've seen a few from retailers but would like to see how some of you have devised one for yourselves...

Wow, the silence is deafening
I am also looking for dead pedal options for my '83 SC. The only ones I have seen for sale are drilled aluminum. Is there an alternative out there that would not look so out of place with the factory rubber pedal surfaces? Cheers, John

Since our host doesn't offer this part, I guess that it won't be bad form to link to a vendor who sells the factory-style RS dead pedals: Smart Racing Products. It's on page 4 of the catalog section linked. I've got one; it is a little high for my late Carrera throttle pedal, but perfect in relation to the brake and clutch.

welcome to the world of small run manufacturing
I know people have made these themselves - the indentation would be hard to do w/o a press you could just make a flat one and glue some rubber on it. |
