Hello,

I cab is seeing alot of time outside and in the rain lately. Does anyone have any recommended products to use to prep the soft top?

Also... what about fade in the summer months? Any suggestions.

There's supposed to be some special spray you get at the dealer, but I haven't tried it.

What I keep meaning to get is one of those mini car covers which just coveres the top. I posted a question about sourcing them some time ago, but haven't yet actually found one.

On a related topic, Monday night I spent a couple of hours re-adjusting my windows. I hadn't done that since doing my cab conversion, don't know why. Maybe I'm a lazy idiot. Anyway, now the driver's side is perfect, the passenger-side almost so, but now I get zero water in the car in a heavy rain. Previously, whenever a chick rode in the car with me, her panties would get all wet.

Thom,

Funny enough the "mini car cover" came up in a conversation I had earlier today. I purchased one from JC Whitney a while ago. It doesn't show up online but it may be in their catalog.

Rick

I saw this convertible "dressing" while looking up the car cover...

Get The Porsche Cab Top repellant spray. Comes in a tall black spray can. Works great! You have to tape and paper everything off and then apply several coats. I had no idea how dried out my top was before I used this product. The water actually beaded up and ran off the top after treatment Just like a new coat of Blitz wax!
