How often should you adjust your clutch?

Is there a 'maintenance interval' for this based on normal clutch wear? Or do you just adjust it when you have probs?

Adam,

It probably should be checked every six months or so ... freeplay and adjustment clearance at the cable end, but you may not actually adjust it more than every couple of years ... but, driving conditions and drivers vary as to how much wear is actually caused on the clutch disk.

Yikes, 10 years on the same cable without an adjustment and my clutch works fine. Now I won't be able to sleep at night, and when I drive the car I'll start to hear strange noises.

I guess I'll be under the car this weekend to take some measurements.
