915 clutch adjustment

I have a 72 915 box and are trying to adjust the clutch. To bring the pedal bite up do I rotate the nuts on the end of the cable tighter or looser?

Sorry for the stupid q!

You tighten the nut but make sure you are not engaging the TOB all the time.

Turn them towards the clutch end of the cable, but heed Bruce's caution.

I am currently doing this as well with my 72. How do I know if I am engaging the throw-out bearing?

You don't want the pedal to engage too close to the floor or too high
Engagement starts about 1/3 way off floor and is complete by 2/3 of the way to the top.
