'66 911 sticky tires recommendations

I'm just finishing a 4 yr build on my '66 911. It will be nearly concours but also for spirited street driving. No track driving. No wet weather driving. Dry street driving but spirited nonetheless. I'm using 14x 5&1/2 Fuchs. Whats are your recommendations for a non-original STICKY street tire ?

Wow, 14s are hard to come by these days. Falken still makes the 615k+ in a 14", not sure if the height of the tire is what you need.

205/55-14 toyo 888r fit 5.5 inch rim. Autocross/track only but on such a light car not likely driven many miles, it would be doable IMO.

I do not disbelieve in anything. I start from the premise that everything is true until proved false. Everything is possible.

Avon CR6ZZ, available (I think...) in a 185/70 14. Long thread on these tires over on the Early S.

i've been using Toyo Proxy 888's 205/55x14 on my 912 - mounted also on Fuchs 5.5 x 14's.
Just what you're looking for - very stick dry, not so much in the wet.

Sticky tires are overrated. Get you something that allows the car to dance!
