Help with exhaust on 1972 911T
Hello,
I have a 1972 911T that I am in the process of putting back together. It was a barn find and hasn't run in 15-20 years. At some point long ago someone put a fiberglass iron kit on the car. I haver been putting it back to stock. Long story short the car had dual exhaust> I am swapping it back to the single stock style. I had to buy a new exhaust bracket which I did. That said it doesn't line up with the mounts. Refer to pic. What am I missing or doing wrong? ![]() ![]() ![]() I borrowed this to show how I think it should be. ![]() This is where the dual exhaust was mounted. |

Bump! Any Pelicans able to help this individual out?
If you don't get any answers, try posting this as a comment at the bottom of this tech article here: Pelican Technical Article: Exhaust System Upgrades. One of our P car specialist might have additional input for you. Good luck! |
