Porsche Crest Grassroots Motorsports...

Great article in the latest Grassroots Motorsports (October 2001) about "affordable" Porsches...and Wayne!

Check it out.

That just reminded me...I subscribed to (and paid) Grassroots almost 3 months ago and have yet to receive an issue. Kind of a PITA as I like the mag. I hope it shows up soon.

Just received the new issue this week (December's issue). Again, it's filled with Porsches!

There's an article called "Real Rides" that detail some privately owned cars that are raced, including 3 Porsches: 1975 911, 1978 911SC and a 914/6 conversion. There's also two project car update articles: one on their 944 n/a and one on their 914 project car.

This magazine is truly an inspiration and resource for anyone into amateur motorsports. I love it!

Chris, sorry you've had some misfortune with getting your magazine from them: I've had no problems thus far. Give them a call (and ask for a couple of bumper stickers!) I am sure they can set you up right away...

I'm a long time GRM reader and Chris you might know the magazine is not monthly. You should check with them if you haven't received the one Clay talked about.
GRM has 2 project Porsches and many other cars in their garage. Some of them are on my wish list.

GRM rocks. I was subscribed to it before I even got my 911. I have to renew my subscription quick. I am interested in the 914 project. I am curious about racing the 914, someday.
