Saw this link the other day, with over 200 cars sitting in old stables and barns. Many of them were sold but there were couple rares in the ones that were still unsold. Did not see any Porsches though, one very old Corvette was only thing that interested me.

But the point is that there seem to be old "abandoned" cars still in some areas of Tellus.

PS: Wish I found that kinda place some day.

My "barn of choice" is the one on the new Porsche commercial with the 550 spyder.

I would have to add a mint 911 Carrera RS.

Just my small fantasy.

Just as I thought from the name and phone number:

http://www.***********.com/

I am sure all the good parts are mysteriously gone and they are priced at somehting crazy high $.

I would pay $500 for either of them. Figure the cost of restoration at $10,000+ to do it right. Too rich for me.

How bout' an RSR in a barn? Well, it is a Porsche and it is in a barn...not quite the same as the 356's in the threads above. And it's not yet an RSR, but hopefully will be in the near future. More of the story is at the link...

Personally, I like your barn better, Jack.

Here's my dad's car in the barn story http://home.earthlink.net/~rod4jesus/index.html

As for the engine, there was a change in plans. Now were talking 912 POWER!!!!!!! They purchased my engine and its going into the 55. So you 996 turbos watch out!

That is how I found my RS. 4 years in a field, 7 more in a depot, with an owner not willing to sell...
My fiancee knows that everytime we go for a walk, I will peek through every depot window.
Keep looking guys, they are somewhere.. :-))
