Torque & measurement conversion charts
I have 2 charts, one converts torque (Nm, Ft/Lbs, In/Lbs) that I made in both .xls and .html formats and the other is decimal to metric measurements that is in .html that I found on a woodworking site some time ago. They print out in one page sheets each and I keep copies taped to the inside lid of my toolboxes. I ride and do my own maint. on 2 BMW motorcycles and I found these to be of great assistance.
Unfortunately they are in .html and .xls format, how can I best post them to the site to make them available for the group? Suggestions please, Bill W. |
Bill:
Can't help on posting, but a good opportunity to plug a guy I think did a great service with his free conversion software. The conversion utility is called Convert and can be downloaded at http://www.joshmadison.com/software/convert/ John |
I have several links for conversion tools but I didn't want to run into the house each time so I made the torque chart. The metric/dec. chart was in printable format on at a site someone else found for me. I use them more when they're close to my tools.

a durable sliding conversion chart from the dealer. costs about $2. QUITE COOL. length, weight, vacuum, volume, torque, power, pressure, temp, mm to inches, miles to KM, and vin year ID letters. but nothing is as cool as the josh madison "convert" chart. |
