Young Porsche Fan Needs Our Help

I received a letter today from a young man named Eric. He is a student at Martin Elementary in Connecticut. He has recently been picked for the PROBE program (People Reaching Out to Broaden Education), for more experienced students. He has decided to research the history of the Porsche automobile. He would appreciate it if anyone would be able to send information to him.

We are sending him a complete set of back issues and a free subscription to 9 Magazine. If you have any photos, posters, etc., for Eric to use please let me know.

Wayne,

The young man wrote a letter to me, no e-mail address was included in the letter.

Since he is a minor I didn't want to post his address on site.

That was wise...but schools do have computers these days...I hope you put him in touch with this board...with a warning to steer clear of the eye candy thread...

I did a case study about Porsche that is available here. Now, I know you Porsche nuts are going to rip it apart, but keep in mind that a) the paper needs to be concise and b) most of the paper was written by people not as familiar with Porsches as I am.

Does anyone have a copy of the History channel program about the history of Porsche. This would be a great way for him to get started. He could also take a trip to a Borders/Barnes & Noble etc. and spend the afternoon reading some of the books on Porsche while he sips a Hot Chocolate.

Just suggestions I would give my kids if they asked this question.
