Corner Balance vs trunk stuff delete
Hi,
I had my SC corner balanced a year ago by a pro. Since then I delete up front in the trunk all unnecessary stuff (AC stuff in smuggler box, carpet, spare tire, tool kit. That leaves me with all weight to the left (driver, battery, fusebox, tanknozzle, brakebooster. Apart from the possibility to move the battery to the smuggler box (which I will not do), any sugestions as to how to handle this front-weight-disharmony? Is a re-cornerbalancing the "best" I can do? Thanks! http://up.picr.de/29055918ca.jpg |
Street car?
If so, I think you'll be fine as is. Lots of cars never been corner balanced do ok at track days and autocrosses. |
streetcar, yes. Though thoroughly driven at times ;-)

Spare tire and smuggler's box are "close" to the center of the car. The absolute weight removed is significant, but since it's not too far from the centerline of the car, I'd think it would not show much difference in R/L balance on cornerweight scales.
