Trunk rubber seal questions
Hey everyone, I ordered new seals from out host, for my 1967 coupe's front hood/trunk and noticed both sides are a bit too long... Should I just trim the extra off, or should they line up perfectly?
Also, for the small seal that runs across the front, is it in the correct location, seems like it could also go a bit lower. Thanks, everyone! Brian Last edited by Luccia at Pelican Parts; 05-02-2017 at 07:26 AM.. |

rubber
Brian, when fitting side seals, make sure you dont cut to short as they can shrink
over time and heat. when fitting dampen the seal with a damp rag and slide in while pushing rubber seal together , not pulling, so it does not shrink. |
